BRIAN MASTERTON

Brian has more than 10 years experience in the alternative assets space.

Originally from the United Kingdom, Brian graduated from the London School of Economics and subsequently obtained a J.D. from New York University. He subsequently worked in corporate law at Skadden, Arps. After five years in legal practice, he joined the investment banking division at Perella Weinberg and Partners, where he advised a number of tech unicorns on their late-stage funding rounds. He then worked at elite family office ICONIQ Capital in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Brian is a founding partner of Primavera Partners and is currently based in San Francisco. He has a particular interest in the technology sector, and has a particular expertise in secondary equity buy-outs.

In addition to his work at Primavera Partners, Brian is very active in the philanthropy space. He is a board member at two nonprofits.
